Chester County Chamber Endorses Pat Meehan

August 25th

DREXEL HILL, PA - Pat Meehan, the Republican candidate for Congress in Pennsylvania's 7th District, was endorsed today by the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry.

"Our selection was based on your pro-business stance on the many issues we discussed," wrote Nancy Keefer, President and CEO of the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry, in her letter to Meehan announcing their support.  "We were especially pleased to receive your support on issues we have been following this past year including health care reform, financial reform, EFCA 'Card Check' and your desire to make Pennsylvania's tax structure more competitive to attract and retain business and industry."

"I am extremely grateful to receive the endorsement from the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry.  I am committed to lower taxes and reducing our already-bloated government to encourage entrepreneurship and provide small businesses with the tools to create jobs," said Pat Meehan.  "We've seen how the policies of the Pelosi-Reid agenda that Bryan Lentz supports are only putting our country further into an economic abyss as witnessed yesterday with the severe drop in home sales.  I will work in Congress to put our country on a course correction because we simply cannot afford the status quo."
