Lentz Silent on Manipulating Election
August 4thDREXEL HILL, PA - Democrat party leaders, activists, and Bryan Lentz campaign workers collected roughly 4,800 signatures for third party candidate James Schneller in an effort to secure his place as a spoiler on the ballot in the election for Congress in Pennsylvania's 7th Congressional District.
Petition circulators for Schneller include Colleen Guiney, who Lentz referred to as "the hardest worker on my campaign" and serves as Chairman of the Swarthmore Democratic Party; Matt Silva, a district leader for the Upper Darby Democratic Party; Nicholas Allred, internet director and blogger for the Swarthmore College Democrats; and Julie Klein, who has actively raised money for Lentz on Act Blue.
Lentz has refused to comment."Bryan Lentz is 20 points down in the polls and in an act of desperation has again compromised himself, resorting to gutter politics," said Pat Meehan, "He knows he cannot win a race on the issues, because his support is squarely behind the failed policies of Nancy Pelosi and Barrack Obama. Bryan Lentz needs to stop hiding, show some integrity and explain to voters why he is trying to manipulate this race to get elected."
