Included in the policies the Obama administration is reportedly considering is a temporary payroll tax holiday, a measure Pat Meehan originally proposed in February.  A payroll tax holiday will put cash into the pockets of consumers and spur demand for the products and services provided by small businesses across the country.

Up to this point, Meehan's opponent, Bryan Lentz, has been skeptical, if not outright critical, of a payroll tax holiday. In an op-ed in the Delaware County Daily Times, Lentz refers to the payroll tax holiday as an "artificial incentive to hire."

"Voters deserve to know Bryan Lentz's stance on the proposed payroll tax holiday," Kendro continued. "Will Lentz continue to deny the merits of Pat Meehan's job creation proposal supported even within the White House, or will he use the Administration's political cover to come out in support of a measure Pat Meehan has been advocating for months?"
